SAFEGUARDING

 

Minee Monkeys Limited recognises that it has an explicit duty to safeuard and protect children from abuse as defined in the Children's Act 2014; following the 'working together to safeguard children' guildelines. The overall intention and purpose behind the 'setting safeguarding policy' is underpinned by the fundamental princples of the Children's Act 1989.

 

Here at Minee Monkeys Ltd we aim to create an environment in our setting which encourages children to develop a positive self-image, regardless of their race, gender, culture, religion or origin. We work with the parents to build their understanding of and commitment to the welfare of all our children. We are continually helping children to establish and sustain satisfying relationships with their family's peers and other adults.

 

All of our staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level and are fully inducted to ensure they are suitable to work with children.

 

We have students at the setting, which are never left unattended with the children.

 

We have a strict policy regarding mobile phones and under no circumstance are they
allowed in the room.

 

All staff are kept up-to-date with their safeguarding training.
